Teresa Sue Klemme

Teresa Sue Klemme, age 58 of Lawrence, Kansas passed away January 21, 2025 at her home. Memorial services will be 1:30PM, Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1245 New Hampshire St., Lawrence, KS 66044.

Teresa Sue Klemme was born September 15, 1966 in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Merlyn Lee and Donna Mae (Dawdy) Klemme.

Teresa is survived by her mother, Donna Klemme of Akron, Iowa; daughters, Raigen Kempenar of Baldwin City and Sophia Klemme of Kansas City; grandchildren, Kaedyn Sloan, Forrest and Kohen Kempenar; sister, Cassie Klemme of Lawrence; brother, Louie Klemme (Judy) of Lecompton; sister, Ginger Paul of San Angelo, TX; nieces and nephews: Tabetha Klemme (Michael Rhoades) of Lawrence; Ashley Adams (Carlos Borunda) of Lawrence; Jerry Ratcliff of Wichita; Jamie Treadwell and Allie Treadwell of Texas; great niece and nephew: Mikey Roads and Adrianna Borunda.

She is preceded in death by her father, Merlyn Klemme of Akron, Iowa (2018) and her son, Dustin Kasson of Lecompton (2004).

Teresa was an amazing cook and loved spending time preparing food. She loved the water, sun bathing and music. Teresa kept a well decorated home and loved her family. She will be missed by all those who knew and cherished her.
