Sharon Marie Mihm

Sharon Marie (Nuehring) Mihm, age 58 of Wellsville, KS, formerly of Osage, Iowa passed away Friday, March 3 at Olathe Medical Center. Visitation will be 5-8PM, Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Wilsons Funeral Home in Wellsville. A visitation will be held Thursday, from 5-8 at Champion Funeral Home in Osage, Iowa. Funeral services will be Friday morning at 10AM, at the Eden Presbyterian Church in Rudd, Iowa. Interment will follow services in the Eden Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wellsville City Library, Wellsville UMC or the Eden Presbyterian Church in care of Wilsons, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.
Sharon Marie (Nuehring) Mihm was born May 14, 1958, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of John H. and Berniece K. (Steed) Labert. She attended grade school in Dundee, MI and graduated from Osage High School in 1976. She was a childhood member of 4-H and the Order of Rainbow for Girls. On August 6, 1977, she married Dennis Nuehring. He preceded her in death. On July 25, 1987, she married Denny Mihm. They later divorced. In her adulthood, she was a member of the Eastern Star and was active in church. Sharon loved her family and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her kids and grandkids. She loved to quilt, to make rugs, garden, sew, bake and decorate cakes, collect antiques and was an Elvis Presley enthusiast. Sharon not only donated her time serving on several committees, but also gave life through organ donation.
Sharon is survived by her son, Timothy and Laura Nuehring and son Ethan of Woodbury, MN; Daughter Holly and Paul Manny and children Owen, Sophie, Aiden and Asher of Wellsville, KS; Son Michael and Lindsay Nuehring and sons Calum and Kael of Mason City, IA; Parents, John and Berniece Labert of Wideman, AR; sisters, Donna and Paul Jennings of Osage, IA; Cheryl and Mark Hemann of Osage, IA; Rebecca Johnson of Milano, TX; brother, John M. and Stephanie Labert of Mountain View, AR; Sister-in-laws, Avon and Jerry Rurup of Titonka, IA; Donna and Marloe Ellighson of Joice, IA; Nancy Hirota of Osage, IA; Janet and Gerald May of Osage, IA; Ronda Olson of Rose Creek, MN; 24 nieces and nephews and her special friend, Denny Mihm. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Dennis Nuehring, father-in-law, Dean Nuehring; mother-in-law, Elsie Nuehring and sister-in-law, Brenda Ricke.
