Roger Neal Shaw

Roger Neal Shaw, age 59 of Wellsville, KS, passed away Oct. 16, 2017. A Celebration of Life will be held 2-4PM at Wilson's Funeral Home, 607 Main, Wellsville, KS on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017. Rev. Warren Winfrey will be officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent in Roger's name to Wilson's Funeral Home, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.
Roger Neal Shaw was born Jan. 9,1958 in Independence, MO, the son of Roland R. Shaw and Mary A. Shay. Roger grew up in Carrollton, MO and attended school there. He joined the army in 1973 and upon return, he worked as an auto mechanic most of his life before becoming disabled after a horrific auto accident. Roger was loved by many and will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his wife, Mariena K. Shaw, of the home; a Sister, Kay (Katie) Shaw Nelson, Independence, MO; a daughter, Holly, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, step-dad, Larry Shay and his lifelong friend and cousin,Warren Winfrey and wife, Diana. He is preceded in death by his parents.
