Robert Alexander Gamberel, age 72 of Gardner, formerly of Richmond, KS passed away October 15, 2023 at his home. A 5PM, sunset inurnment will be held by family at the Richmond Cemetery, Saturday, November 11, 2023. A Celebration of Life will follow at White Tail Run Winery in Edgerton.
Robert Alexander Gamberel was born September 6, 1951 in Kansas City, Kansas the son of Robert Lewis and Norma Louise (Barry) Gamberel.
After graduating from Rosedale High School in 1969, and at the age of 18, Bob married Connie Faye McNutt. They were married 52 years before her passing on March 2, 2022.
Bob worked for the railroad as a switchman for many years before he purchased three paper routes that he ran for over 30 years before retiring. He was a loyal husband, loving father and was always ready for a good time. He never had a bad word to say about anyone always saw the good in people.
Bob is survived by his children: son, Rob Gamberel of Kincaid; son, Brian Gamberel of Colony; daughter, Jennifer Fuller (Dan) of Gardner; sister, Vicki Murrow of Drexel, MO; brother, Randy Gamberel of Georgia; and grandchildren: Kagen Gamberel of Olathe, Kinlee and Wesley Gamberel of Ottawa, and Mason, Cooper and Rylee Fuller of Gardner. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Connie and brother Timmy Gamberel.
