Patricia Ford Obituary

Patricia Louise Ford, age 73 of Wellsville, Kansas passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Advent of Olathe. Graveside services will be 2PM, Monday, June 9, 2025 at the Wellsville Cemetery. Patricia Louise Ford was born October 21, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Truman Gail and Ruth Catherine (Schabel) Carroll. When God created our Mother, I don’t know if he understands how PERFECT she was. Our Mother/Wife was the woman that held our family together from the time we born to the time we held her hands and feet as she slipped away.  As we are writing this heartbreaking obituary, the tears of sadness and " Soul Filling " Joy, are moving our fingertips to compose these sentences.  We've been a family that has never been known for a loss of words.  Mom was a light that could not be described.  The rays of light she filled our life with will be taken to our graves when the time comes.  My Brother and I, along with our Dad, have been surrounded by Loved ones for the past few days.  As we sit here laughing and crying with an endless river of tears, we can sit here with certainty beyond imagination, that our Mother was an Angel and Saint sent to our Dad 50 years ago.  They Loved each other beyond space and time.....The Love was measured down to an atomic, chemistry level......inseparable for over 50 years.  Our family was my mothers GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT in her life.  Our parents marriage survived the ups and downs of any marriage ( Probably much more, because my brother and I were a holy terror :)  Our mothers eyes lit up with a joy and brightness that cannot be expressed or put into words, when we showed up to the house to just " BS " about anything and everything.  Our mother shaped our family into a home that could never be broken.  The level of dedication, selflessness, love, commitment and soul filling joy.....is un-imaginable.  We NEVER, not one time EVER, heard Mom say " I’m feeling a little under the weather, could you do it? " She dedicated her complete Being, to raising Ned and I, along with being the most dedicated, Loving Wife.  As Ned and I sit here, we both agree beyond a shadow of a doubt, that if it was even possible to make a " Mom " from scratch, with any and all qualities a " Perfect Mom " were to possess.....Our mother would be the Mold to make EVERY mother in existence.  The Level of Love our Mother gave to our family, is near un-obtainable, nowadays.

As I write this, I can only hope our Mom/Wife knows that she is our EVERYTHING.  Its not just a word.  Its a feeling, emotion, thought, sight, sound, smell....down to an atomic level.  Actually, its beyond atomic.  " Everything " to describe our mother is not even close to how much she has entwined our lives and souls.

Our Mom is beyond an atomic level of love.  Our Mom has been a spirit since we were born, that only exists as an Angel sent from heaven to shower us with her UN-CONDITIONAL Love and Devotion as a Mother and Wife.

Mom....WE LOVE you beyond space, beyond time, and beyond words used to encapsulate the meaning of Love that two sons and a husband have for their Mother and Wife.

As you are reading this, call your Son, Daughter, Wife or Husband.  Tell them how much you Love them.  It takes 5 seconds to send a text message with some Heart emoji's to let your Loved ones, Especially your Mom, know that they mean the world to you.  It will put a HUGE smile on their face.
