Ollidean Marjorie (Roberts) Bradbury

Ollidean Marjorie Bradbury, age 94 of Wellsville, Kansas passed away, Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Olathe Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11AM, Friday, July 22, 2022 at the Wellsville United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior at 10AM. Private Interment in the Wellsville Cemetery will follow services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wellsville United Methodist Church in care of Wilson’s, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.

Ollidean Marjorie Bradbury was born September 16, 1927 at her Fordland, Missouri home, the daughter of Jay and Edna (Bish) Roberts. She graduated from Buffalo High School in 1945 and was married to Charles Bradbury. Ollidean worked a short time for TWA, was a stay-at-home mom and homemaker while she raised her children, and later worked at Gardner Community Medical Center.

Ollidean was a member of the Wellsville United Methodist Church, the Friends of the Library, a volunteer at the Wellsville Senior Center, would dress up as Mrs. Clause for many years and loved to read. She had lived in Wellsville since 1967 and had been a resident at the Wellsville Retirement Community since 2015.

Ollidean is survived by her son, Ron Bradbury (Mary) of Louisburg, KS; daughter, Terri Price (Ron) of Goshen, IN; daughter, Janet Blankenship (Sid) of Olathe, KS; brother, Gary Roberts (Ann) of West Richland, WA; sister-in-law, Nicki Roberts of Springfield, MO: sister-n-law, Hazel Roberts of AZ; grandchildren: Kelly Wilson (Brad) of Leawood, KS; Jason Bradbury of Vancouver, BC; Russ Price (Jennifer) of Nappanee, IN; Becki Kyle (Dan) of Whitehouse, TN; Ben Blankenship (Alison) of Little Elm, TX; Emily Riggs (Mike) of Lawrence, KS; great-grandchildren: Ryan, Jess and Rylie Price; Zach Kyle; Sam & Maggie Blankenship; Charlie and Betty Riggs; Henry and Rex Wilson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a 3-year old sister, Marcella; and 5 brothers, Marlin, Wendall, Carroll, James and Vernon Roberts.
