Neita Cleo (Davidson) Robbs

Neita Cleo Robbs, 87, of Baldwin City, KS, went to be with her Lord on July 13, 2023.  Funeral services will be 11AM, Saturday, July 22, 2023 at the Wellsville Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 10-11AM, one hour prior. Interment will follow services in the Wellsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wellsville Baptist Church in care of Wilson’s, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.

Neita Cleo Robbs was born April 28, 1936, in Wellsville, KS, the daughter of Chleo Theodore and Ethel May (McGhee) Davidson.

Neita graduated from Wellsville High School in May 1954, and was united in marriage to Franklin Delano Robbs on May 23, 1954.  They shared over 57 years together before his passing in March of 2012.

Neita was a member of the Wellsville Baptist Church.  

She spent her life taking care of her family and enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening.  Her grandchildren have many good memories of Grandma teaching them how to sew and cook. Neita will be deeply missed and remain in the hearts of her family and friends. 

Neita is survived by her children:  Kenneth Robbs (Jill) of Baldwin City, KS; David Robbs (Kimberly) of Wellsville, KS; and Evelyn Robbs of Topeka, KS; 8 Grandchildren:  Kenda Price of Poquoson, VA; Nakayla Hoshaw (Waylon), of Olathe, KS;  April Robbs of Overland Park, KS: Kanin Robbs of Ottawa, KS; Logan Robbs (Hailey), of Wellsville, KS; John Robbs (Kristen) of Baldwin City, KS;  Jenny Beuttel (Kent) of Ottawa, KS; and Brielle Hinkle (Sam) of Texas City, TX, and 11 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Franklin, and her son, Daniel Sherman Robbs.
