Nancy Ann (Toumberlin) Watts, age 72, of Ottawa, Kansas peacefully passed away January 17, 2021 at Morningside Place in Overland Park, Kansas. No services are planned at this time per COVID restrictions. A Celebration of Life will be planned later in the year and posted on the website when those arrangements are made..In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Prairie Paws Animal Shelter in Ottawa, Kansas.
Nancy Ann Watts was born January 22, 1949, the daughter of Dan Toumberlin and Peggy Rice.
Nancy loved watching her plants grow and always had a nice garden. She had a tomato stand at her house for several years. Most of all, she absolutely loved her dogs and cat.
Nancy worked at Hallmark from the time she was 16 until she retired in 2002. Nancy went to numerous Craft Shows selling her Paintings. She loved Painting Sawblades, Christmas ornaments, Antiques, or anything else she could paint on. She was very outgoing and loved talking to everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents and Stepfather, a sister, Alice Nilges, and grandparents, Walter and Josephine McMillen (McMillen Democrat Acres) in LeLoup, Ks., and Elva Toumberlin of Ottawa.
She is survived by her sisters, Carolyn Baker of Ottawa, Gerry Minor in Texas, many beloved nieces and Nephews, Tim and Jeff Fennell, Darrin and Randy Stoneking, Alicia Daley, Danielle Smith, Sara Persson and many great nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
