Minor Launce Tuck

Minor Launce Tuck, age 85 of Gravois Mills, Missouri, formerly of Wellsville, Kansas passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025. Graveside inurnment services will be 10AM, Sunday, June 8, 2025 at the Wellsville Cemetery. At Minor’s request, a Celebration of Life will follow with a fish fry from 12-7PM at Forest Park in Ottawa.

Minor Launce Tuck was born May 14, 1939 in Memphis, Missouri, the son of Charles Buford and Dola May (Rae) Tuck. He grew up in Memphis where he graduated from high school. Minor married Carolyn Jean Bowdish, and together they had 3 children. They also cared for and raised 3 grandchildren after the untimely passing of their son, Merlyn.

Minor worked for and retired from Western Electric in Merriam.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping, all things he loved doing from his younger years throughout his life.

Minor is survived by his son, Steve Tuck; grandchildren: Josh Tuck and his children, Tayden Minor and Treyson Karroll; Justin Tuck and his children, Timothy, Lydia and Johnathon; Ashley Tuck; Jerrica LaCascio (Nick) and their children Lily and Lucy; and Danielle Rocha.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother, Emery Tuck, granddaughter, Jessica Tuck (1992), son, Merlyn Tuck (1995) and daughter, Kimberly Joan Dunivan (2018).
