Milton Carl Coughenour

Milton Carl Coughenour, age 64 of Wellsville, Kansas passed away July 29 at his home. Milton will be cremated and interred in Richland Cemetery in Mound City, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to Wilson’s, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.

Milton C. Coughenour was born September 1, 1959 in Olathe, Kansas the son of William Samuel and Willa Lee (Cook) Coughenour. He was raised in Wellsville and graduated from WHS in 1978. Milton had worked in the oil fields for a majority of his adult life.

He is survived by his daughter, Jodie Lynn Black (Jason) and their children, Jason and Joshua of Coos Bay, OR; adopted daughter, Shuri Marie Hardin of Wellsville; grandchildren Karson Smith and Kaden LeDoux of Wellsville and a brother, William F. Coughenour of Wellsville. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Miller and significant other, Janet Clay.
