Mary Ann Knecht

Mary Ann (Domann) Knecht, age 81, of Olathe, Kansas peacefully passed away February 6, 2021 at Wellsville Retirement Center in Wellsville, Kansas. No services are planned at this time due to COVID restrictions. A Celebration of Life will be planned for later in the year.
Mary Ann was a devout Christian who loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a manager at Safeway before retiring to take care of her grandchildren. Mary Ann enjoyed playing golf, going to garage sales, and collecting beanie babies.
Mary Ann was born August 26, 1939, in Winchester, Kansas, to Gerald and Helen Domann. She was the oldest of 9 children. She was united in marriage to Lloyd L. Knecht (Leon) on October 8, 1960 and they had 4 children.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd L. Knecht, her parents, her sister Shirley Godfrey, sister Virginia Kooser, and brother Gary Domann. She is survived by her 4 children Michelle Weidman (Mike), Kevin Knecht (Kelli), Stacy Green (John), and Kelli Stringfield (Mike), 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, sisters Joyce Newton (Bill) and Stephanie Barnard (Chuck), brothers Keith Domann (Sharon), Max Domann (Judy), and Darrell Domann (Kylene), Gary Kooser, Ronnie Godfrey, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary Ann will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
