Marjorie Mae Lintner, age 80 of Wellsville, Kansas passed away Sunday, January, 17, 2021 at Brookdale College Square in Overland Park, Kansas. A celebration in memory of Marj will be held 6PM, Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Chili Jacks in Wellsville. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wellsville Friends Foundation or the Wellsville City Library in care of Wilson's, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.
Marjorie Mae Lintner was born January 21, 1940 in Wellsville, Kansas, the daughter of Ted and Naomi (Madlem) Farrell. She was one of 6 children who grew up in Wellsville. She graduated from WHS in 1958, and on September 27 of that same year, she married Britton Chilton. Together, they had 5 children that were also raised in Wellsville and graduated from WHS. Marjorie loved her home town and all of the friends she had. On April 26, 1990, she married Rudy Lintner and gained 3 bonus children. They made a wonderful life together on what her family simply called, "The Farm". They loved to have gatherings at their home and shared 30 years of marriage before her passing.
Marjorie is survived by her husband, Rudy; son, Michael Chilton; son, Rudy Lintner and his wife Colleen; daughter, Bridget Jamison and her husband, Tim; daughter, Tammy Clayton and her husband, Danny; daughter, Kimber Meeder; daughter, Annie Chilton and her husband Eric; daughter, Ramona McSpadden and her husband, Joe; daughter, Rhonda Caldarello and her husband, Tony; sister, Phyllis Farrell; sister, Gailya Collins; brother, Raymond Farrell; 21 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gary Farrell; and a sister Rita Farrell.
