Margaret Louise Clayton, age 101 of Edgerton, Kansas passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the Wellsville Retirement Community. Graveside inurnment services will be 2PM, Wedensday, February 26, 2020 at the Wellsville Cemetery. Visitation will be 2PM, Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Milestone Events in Wellsville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wellsville United Methodist Church.
Margaret Louise Clayton was born September 21, 1918 in Edgerton, Kansas the daughter of Charles Edward and Margaret Elizabeth (Wolfley) Harbour. She married Chester Clayton in December of 1935 and to this union, 4 children were born: Shirley Phillips, Marvin Clayton, Linda Klamm and Karen Knoche. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 31 great great-grandchildren.
Her greatest joys in life were keeping her grandchildren, making quilts for all of them, and cooking big meals for all of her family.
Louise is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 3 brothers, Charles, Leland and Donald Harbour; a sister, Mary Phillips, and a son-in-law, Bill Klamm.
