Larry A. Fuller, 80, a resident of Wellsville, Kansas passed away at Olathe Medical Center on September 22, 2020. Private family memorial services are planned for a later date. Memorial contributions for Larry may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Wellsville Library Children's Programs in care of Wilson's, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.
Larry A. Fuller was born February 1, 1940 in Syracuse, Kansas the son of Charles and Katherine (Garrison) Fuller. He was the second child of four children to Charles and Katherine. At approximately the age of three, the family moved to Lane, Kansas where he spent his childhood and graduated from Lane High School in 1958. In 1959, Larry married Vivian Johnston, and to this union, three children were born. They lived in Sunflower, Kansas near DeSoto and later moved to Wellsville. Unfortunately, his marriage ended and he moved from Wellsville for several years.
In 1992, he met his wife Madeline (Wehmeier), and they were married in 1993. They lived a short time in DeSoto before moving to Wellsville where they were able to spend over 27 very happy years together.
In 1999, Larry retired from Associate Grocers after 30 years as a truck driver. After retirement, he enjoyed restoring antique farm tractors, having a garden and working in the yard with his wife, Madeline. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his wife, Madeline of the home; children; Brad Fuller and his wife Sharri of Toronto, KS; Chris Morris of Lawrence, KS; Laura Campbell and her husband, Rick of Corvallis, OR; Anita Ramey and her husband, Jim of Olathe, KS; and Rob Smith and his wife, Kelley of Olathe, KS; son-in-law, Damon Williams of Modesto, CA; sister Leore Hieber and her husband, John of Bel Air, MD; sister, Loree Hieber of Spring Hill, KS; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Pamela Cederlind-Williams and a brother-in-law, Don Hieber.
