Kevin Eugene Clark, age 53 of Gardner, Kansas passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 at KU Medical Center. Funeral services will be 10:30AM, Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the New Life Community Church in Gardner. Visitation will be 6-8PM, Monday, June 24, 2019, also at the church. Interment will follow services in the Wagstaff Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kevin Clark Memorial Fund in care of Wilson's, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.
Kevin Eugene Clark was born August 29, 1965 in Olathe, Kansas, the son of BK Clark, Jr. and Nina Jean (Boyd) Clark. He grew up in Gardner and graduated from Gardner High School in 1983. He attended Olathe Vocational School. On August 9, 1986, he married Janie Lynn Saunders. To this union one son was born. On July 9, 1994, he married Amy Lynne Kuhnen, and to this union, one daughter was born. They shared almost 25 years of marriage together before his passing. She survives at the home.
Kevin worked at PPG Industries for the last 20 years where he was a technical sales instructor and supervisor. He managed automotive refinish and fleet and industrial coatings and was also the facility manager.
He was a member of Skills USA for over 20 years, the American Water Skiers Association. In 1997 he won the men's National Barefoot Tricks Championship. He was an avid barefoot and water skier, loved any project involving mechanics and spending time with his family and friends.
Kevin is survived by his wife of the home; son, Cody Clark of Olathe, KS; daughter, Kate Clark of Springhill; one grandson, Eli Clark; Mother-in-law, Louise Mitchell of Gardner; many nieces, nephews and other family members. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandmother.
