Funeral services for Josiah Christopher Mason will be 10AM, Monday, August 23, 2021 at the Wellsville Baptist Church. Visitation will be 2-4PM, Sunday, August 22 at Wilson's Funeral Home in Wellsville. Interment will follow services in the Oakwood Cemetery in Baldwin City. Memorial contributions may be made to Fathers Helping Fathers, in care of Wilson's, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.

Josiah Christopher Mason entered eternity on Monday, August 16th, 2021 as a soul more fit for heaven than earth.  Josiah’s tender heart and joyful, child-like demeanor are no doubt entertaining angels even as his lifelong passion for worshipping Jesus is finally finding its true home. Though he will be as deeply missed as he was deeply loved, every soul who knew Josiah for five minutes is confident that he is attacking heaven with the same passion that he brought to every single aspect of his life on earth.

Josiah was zealous about everything he set his hands to.  From sports, to music, to his unique fashion sense, and his love of the outdoors, Josiah brought nothing less than his all to every aspect of his life.  Nothing gave Josiah greater joy than making others laugh, so he mastered this craft with the same fervor as his other passions.  But as varied as were Josiah’s hobbies and skills, nothing consumed him as much as his love for his family and above all, his love for Jesus, for these loves were the core of this husband, father, son, brother, cousin, uncle, and Christ-follower, and these are what people will remember about him most.

Josiah is survived by his wife, Nichole Mason of Edgerton Kansas, his children, Haley, Isaiah, Lorelai, Elijah, Elaina, and Gideon, his father and mother, Brian and Christine Mason of Baldwin City Kansas, his sister, Jessica Holmes of Wellsville Kansas, his brother, Micah Mason of Lee’s Summit Missouri, his brother, Caleb Mason of Cedar Rapids Iowa, and His brother Gabriel Mason of Garnett Kansas.
