Ginger Lee Coughenour

Ginger Lee Coughenour, age 61 of Ocala, Florida, passed away February 8, 2025 at Advent of Ocala. No services are planned. Interment in Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Kansas.

Ginger Lee Coughenour was born January 21, 1964 in Exeter, New Hampshire, the daughter of Stephen M. Towle II and Rose Agnes (Rogers) Towle. She graduated from Exeter High School in 1983. She met her husband, William “Rick” Coughenour in 1986 and in 1990, they were married. In 1999, she moved to Wellsville with her husband where they lived until moving to Ocala, Florida in 2021 to enjoy the warm weather.

Ginger was the kitchen manager for the Wellsville Elementary School from 2000-2015. When she retired she loved that she was able to be a stay-at-home mom. Ginger loved Disney and animals and loved supporting her troops and police and fire personnel.

Ginger is survived by her husband Rick of the home in Ocala, FL; daughter, Tiffany Coughenour of Ocala, FL; son, William Coughenour of Wellsville, KS; daughter, Danielle Mckenzie and her husband Robert of Osage, KS; granddaughter, Hailey Dunlap; her sister, Tracey St. Louis of Hew Hampshire and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ralph Smart; brother, Stephen Towle, III; sister, Florence Hamilton; sister, Maxine Mcleod and grandson, Devon Rice.
