Edward Earl Roe

Edward Earl Roe, age 67 of Ottawa, Kansas passed away Friday, May 23, 2025 at Advent Health of Ottawa. Memorial services will be 2PM, Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Wilson’s Funeral Home in Wellsville. Visitation will be 6-7, Friday June 13, also at the funeral home.

Edward Earl Roe was born February 8, 1958 in Anchorage, Alaska, the son of Arthur Dale and Georgia Jane (Robinson) Roe. He attended school in Brighton, Colorado and Wellsville. He served in the United States Army and later was educated in horticulture and landscaping.

On July 25, 2009 he married Wendy Lynn Taylor in Pahrump, Nevada. They were married almost 26 years before his passing. She survives at the home.

Ed loved his dogs and other people’s as well. He was a true dog lover and they loved him back.

Ed is survived by his wife of the home; daughter, Amber Roe of Illinois; son, Harrison Taylor of Ottawa; son, J Lee Taylor of Ottawa; sister, Dawn Ramser of Wellsville; sister, Robyn Schifelbein of Utah; 4 grandchildren and 4 nieces and 2 nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
