Earl Brown Obituary

Earl Lee Brown, 71, of Edgerton, Kansas, passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at the Olathe Hospice House.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, at Wilson's Funeral Home in Wellsville. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, also at Wilson's. Interment will follow services in the Wellsville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Earl Brown Mem. Fund in care of Wilson's, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.
Earl Lee Brown was born August 28, 1946, in Kansas City, Kansas to Maurice and Evalyn Martin Brown. He grew up in Spring Hill, Kansas and graduated from Spring Hill High School. Earl married his first wife Barbara and share 5 daughters. On May 26, 2000, he married his wife of the home, Bethy Brown, in Paola, Kansas. With his union Earl gained 3 son's. They have resided in Edgerton, Kansas for the past 13 years.
He was employed at Kansas City Power & Light for 25+ years. Earlier in life he also ran his own Pyrotechnican company and worked for the Santa Fe Rail Road. Earl was a member of IBEW Local #412 (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) and Kansas City Golden Gloves Association.
Earl enjoyed many things, Family, Friends, Boxing, Fixing Things, and Tooting Around On His Golf Cart were some of his favorites.
Survivors include his wife, Bethy Brown, of the home, 5 daughters, 3 sons, 25 grandchildren, many great grandchildren; sisters, Pat Mason, Doris Reeves, Sandy Sylva, Diane Waters, and brother Maurice Brown. He is proceeded in Death by his Parents.
