David Eugene Myers

David Eugene Myers, age 86 of Spring Hill, Kansas passed away August 4, 2024 at Colonial Oaks in Spring Hill. Memorial services will be 11AM, Monday, August 19, 2024 at Church of The Harvest in Olathe, Kansas. Family and friends will gather following services at Heritage Park, also in Olathe.

David Eugene Myers was born April 19, 1938 in Kansas City, Kansas the son of Joseph Leslie and Mildred (Metcalf) Myers. He graduated from Argentine High School and on January 8, 1961, Dave married Rose Ann Myers. They shared almost 61 years together before her passing on December 15, 2022. In 1970, Dave graduated from broadcasting school. He was a truck driver most of his working life, but also held other interesting jobs including porch milk delivery, General Motors and working with tile. He enjoyed hunting, wood working, fishing, lure making and macrame.

Dave is survived by two sons, Mark Myers and Mike Myers; a daughter, Sondra Tucker; a sister, Vera Lane; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Rose.
