Daniel Sherman Robbs

Daniel Sherman Robbs, age 66 of Lawrence, KS passed away March 19, 2023 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be 7PM, Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Wellsville Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wellsville Baptist Church as well.

Daniel Sherman Robbs was born May 17, 1956 in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Franklin D. and Neita C. (Davidson) Robbs. He graduated from Granada High School in Livermore, California in 1975 and after graduation, joined the United States Navy. He served his country for 10 years working in communications and was honorably discharged in 1985 as a Petty Officer First Class.

In December of 1983, he married Evelyn Williams. She survives. Dan worked for many companies including Eaton, General Electric, Contel and General Dynamics where he retired from in 2015. Dan had a profound affinity for airplanes and automobiles and he will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Dan is survived by his wife, Evelyn Robbs of Wellsville; mother, Neita Robbs of Baldwin City; daughter, Kenda Price and her two sons, Zach & Ian of Poquoson, VA; daughter, Cheyanne Robbs of Topeka; brother Dave Robbs (Kim) of Wellsville and brother Ken Robbs (Jill) of Baldwin City. He is preceded in death by his father.
