Daniel D. Damron, age 33 of Wellsville, formerly of Ottawa passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at his home. Cremation. Memorial services will be 11AM, Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Wilsons Funeral Home in Wellsville. Memorial contributions may be to the Wellsville City Library in care of Wilsons, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.
Daniel D. Damron was born April 4, 1983 in Ottawa, Kansas, the son of James D. and Brenda Lee (Bruner) Damron. He grew up in Ottawa and attended the Ottawa schools. In July of 2006 he married Amanda Klebenstein and to this union a daughter was born. They later divorced. Daniel worked as a cook at several resaturants around Ottawa.
Daniel is survived by his daughter, Kadence Damron of the home; his mother, Brenda Lee Downey of the home; his brothers, Donald Damron of Ottawa, Jeffrey Damron of Richmond, MO, and Jimmy Damron of Richmond, MO; maternal grandmother, Maxine Bruner of Wellsville; paternal grandmother, Etta Schneider of Ottawa; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, James (2015), his step-father, Douglas Downey (2016), and both of his grandfathers.
