Dakota R. Howe, age 26, passed away on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020. Family Memorial services will be held at 11AM, Saturday, November 21 at Christ Church in Overland Park followed by a public celebration at 3PM, at the DeSoto VFW. Memorial contributions may be made to shatterproof.org.
He was born on January 4th, 1994 to Troy Howe and Jami Miller. Dakota was a beloved son, brother, and friend who will be most remembered for his unrelenting love and great sense of humor. Dakota was sentimental and loved to make people smile with jokes and pranks. He was also deeply devoted to making everyone around him feel special and appreciated. Coda's favorite hobbies included riding quads and doing tricks on pretty much any kind of motorcycle. After high school, Dakota joined his father, Troy Howe, in laying the foundation for the family business - Environmental Consortium - where he would eventually take over.
Dakota had the cutest most ornery smirk, which matched his playful nature. He was someone that loved deeply and treated those around him special. He made it a point to tell people how much he cared. He had an enormous heart, that overflowed with love and kindness.
Dakota will be remembered by his parents and older brother, where he will always be in our hearts and minds until we see him again.
