Cynthia Hogg Obituary

Cynthia Louise Hogg age 62 of Greely, KS passed away November 22, 2023, at her home. Cyndi was born on October 13, 1961, in Kansas City, Missouri. She lived in Grandview Missouri until 1974 when the family moved to Wellsville Kansas. Going from city living to small town living was perfect. This is where she found her love for horses, mainly ‘Dusty” and many other animals. If you knew Cyndi, you knew Dusty. He was a permanent fixture in her life all through high school and beyond. After graduating high school in 1980, she started her career working at King Radio for a couple years then on to Sprint for almost 25 years and after that Garmin for a few years. 38 years ago, Cyndi met Richard Stevens. They shared their lives together and would enjoy riding the Harley, road trips to Arkansas and starting a family Richard and Cyndi were together for 37 years. On August 19, 1992, they welcomed their son Matthew. He was the brightest light in her life. She worked hard to make sure he had everything he needed. She was his biggest fan. After Matthews graduation, they moved to Greely, Kansas to make their home. Over the years, there were many spoiled animals. There would be many sweet big ol’ dogs from Face, Knarly, Buck and can’t forget little Lacy and many others. She loved the many cats that lived with them and the strays she would take in. Not an animal would go hungry if Cyndi was around. Cyndi is survived by her husband Richard of Greeley, KS; son and daughter in-law, Mathew and Brittany Stevens of Spring Hill, KS and her grandchildren Weston, Dalton, and Lilly; sister Chirsty Graham, Baldwin City, KS; brother and sister-in-law Pat Hogg and Linda Shute, Cape Coral, FL; brother and sister-in-law Mark and Susan Hogg, Greeley, KS; nieces Chelsea Pinedo, Tayler Graham; nephews Dustin Hall, Brad Hogg, Nic Hogg, Jesse Hogg; and great-nieces and great nephew. Cyndi is preceded in death by her father, John Hogg and mother, Jeanne Hogg, grandparents and other aunts and uncles. Cyndi will be forever missed and remembered for her dedication and love for family, her grandchildren and her passion and love for helping animals. Cyndi battled these past few years with her health and did her very best to get through each day. Cyndi, you will be missed forever as a Wife, Mom, Grandma, Aunt, and Sister. Sister, may you now rest peacefully.
