Catherine "Cathy" Dee Ann (Hopkins) Bishop

Catherine Dee Ann Bishop, age 69 of Ottawa, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at her home. Family will hold a Celebration of Life 12-2PM, Sunday, March 16, 2025 at the Wellsville Community Center. Memorial contributions may be made to Wilson’s Funeral Home, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.

Catherine “Cathy” Dee Ann Bishop was born June 18, 1955 in Ottawa, Kansas the daughter of Thomas Edward and Mary Jane (Greer) Hopkins. She grew up in LeLoup where she attended elementary school, then moved into the Wellsville school district. Cathy loved decorating and was a Home Interiors Consultant for many years. She loved crafting, making floral arrangements and bird houses and other home décor. She enjoyed music and line dancing and spending time with her family. She loved her grandchildren most of all.

Cathy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Shannon Bishop of Wellsville; sister, Marie Daniels of Wellsville; sister, Virginia Kissinger of Emporia; sister, Betty Higbie and Mike of Pomona; brother, Mike Hopkins of Wellsville; sister, Esther Vogler and Bob of Branson, MO; grandchildren: Tristan Loser of Gladstone, MO; Jessica Bishop of Las Vegas, NV; Brooke Bishop of KCMO; and Tony and Chad Bishop of Wellsville; great-grandchildren: James Loser, Kate Loser, and CJ Twiggs. She is preceded in death by her parents, infant sister, Nancy Sue, and brother Dan Hopkins.
