Bruce Dunfee

Bruce Dunfee, age 82 of Wellsville, KS passed away May 14, 2018 at his home. Cremation. Funeral Mass will be held 9AM, Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Annunciation Catholic Church in Baldwin City. Burial of cremains will follow in the Wellsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Annunciation Catholic Church in Baldwin City, Kansas.
Bruce Dunfee was born February 18, 1936 in South Bend, Indiana, the son of Joseph and Martha (Murphy) Dunfee. Bruce graduated from Central High School in South Bend and on March 10, 1954 he joined the United States Air Force. He was honorably discharged in 1957.
Bruce was a retail manager at Ace Hardware in Indiana for over 20 years. He also owned and operated the Sunrise Car Washes in California. On February 1, 1996, Bruce married Connie McClain in Victorville, CA. She survives at the home in Wellsville. Bruce loved to golf and spend time with his family and friends.
Bruce is survived by his wife of the home; sons, Bruce and Ricky Dunfee, both of Indiana; step-daughter, Kathleen Rene Maples of Wellsville and step-son, William Eugene McClain, Jr.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jude and Joyce Dunfee, Bill and Maryann Dunfee and Joseph and Joyce Dunfee; sister, Frances Dunfee; 7 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and a twin brother, Barry Dunfee.
