Bridget Lynn Jamison, age 61 of Wellsville, Kansas passed away, Sunday, November 7, 2021 while in Florida. A Memorial visitation will be 10-12PM, Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Wilson’s Funeral Home in Wellsville. Graveside services will follow at the Wellsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the WHS Athletic Fund and the Kid Matters Wrestling Program in care of Wilson’s, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.
Bridget Lynn Jamison was born January 28, 1960 at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo, the daughter of Britton and Marjorie (Farrell) Chilton. She grew up in Wellsville and graduated from WHS with the class of 1978. She married Tim Jamison on August 26, 1978. They had 2 sons that were raised in Wellsville and also graduated from Wellsville High. Bridget loved following all kid’s sports. She spent many weekends in gyms around the area watching wrestling, and as the boys got older, basketball. Many more evenings were spent watching the boys at the baseball diamond or on the football field.
Bridget is survived by her husband, Tim of the home; sons Aaron “AJ” Jamison (Danielle) of Marceline, MO, and Andy Jamison of Wellsville; grandsons Reece and Zane Svendsen, and Dillon and Ryan Ware; brothers Mike Chilton (Jackie); Rudy Lintner (Colleen); Wade Smyth (Elizabeth); and Craig Smyth (Christina); sisters Tammy Clayton (Danny); Kim Meeder; Annie Waters (Eric); Rhonda Caldarello (Tony); and Ramona McSpadden (Joe); and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Britton and Judy Chilton, and Rudy and Marjorie Lintner.
