Bob Dean McDaniel, age 86 of Edgerton, KS peacefully passed away on November 8, 2017 at his home. Bob was born Dec. 6, 1930, in Antioch, KS to Jim and June McDaniel. He married Alberta Irene McCauley on May 31, 1949. Bob was a farmer and worked for Rose Construction Company for 47 years, where he was easily recognized by his original trade-mark toolbox. Bob is survived by his two daughters and their husbands: Lexie Lou and Tom Terrono and Catherine Sue and Albert Thomas; daughter-in-law, LaVonne McDaniel; 7 grandchildren and their families; sister-in-law, Willa Lou Sawyer; and many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by wife of 59 years, Alberta Irene McDaniel, son, Roger Alvin McDaniel, twin infant great-grandsons Austin Michael and Andrew William Terrono, his parents, step-mother, Amy McDaniel, four older sisters and three older brothers. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, and services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13, both at Wilson's Funeral Home in Wellsville, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Baptist Church or Lighthouse Baptist Church c/o Wilson's Funeral Home, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.
